At the beginning of July, The Royal Oak were delighted to host the annual summer party for the Revere Agency in Marlow, where 70 employees came together to revel in a festival-themed corporate party that left a lasting impression on all guests.
From the moment guests arrived they were transported into a world of festivity wonder; vibrant organza draped the inside of the teepee combined with the bright colours of pinwheels, lanterns and festoon lighting to set the perfect ambiance for the evening.
The event also gave The Royal Oak an opportunity to showcase the newly installed “Hut” where we served refreshments including draft beer, cocktails, wines and spirits. Pimms and Prosecco were served as welcome drinks to kick off the evening, and not to forget the fiesta themed lei handed out to get you in the mood.
Drinks were enjoyed on the patio area of the Teepee at The Royal Oak with the dulcet tones of Lara Lu singing songs with a theme centred around
the essence of summer. The Buffet was served at 7pm with a delectable array of The Royal Oak Chef’s signature dishes combined with classic favourites all in perfect harmony with the carnival theme of the evening.
Partygoers couldn’t resist the temptation of the charming sweet cart, indulging in sugary delights from mouth-watering candies to nostalgic classics and modern favourites, including sour sweets to pack a zesty punch.
Guests enjoyed a DJ playing during the evening with some spectacular entertainment, including the wonderful Katy Cartwheel performing acrobatics and the chance for guests to don their own acrobatic skills and have a go at tightrope walking, plate spinning and hula hooping with a twist. The magicians mesmerising sleight of hand left guests spellbound, every trick was executed flawlessly, captivating the audiences imagination, cards vanished and reappeared effortlessly, creating an unforgettable experience for those who observed his magical artistry.
Before the evening drew to a close, Vulcan the Fire Artist provided a breath-taking display with a symphony of flames and artistry to music. Twirling, spinning, and controlling fire, he created an unforgettable spectacle to round off the evening entertainment. The night was not quite over as guests still had time to enjoy a few more tunes from the DJ and put their dancing skills to work under the disco lights. The festival themed event proved to be a huge success for Revere with guests saying it was the best corporate event they had attended! We, at The Royal Oak, also enjoyed the evening and are honoured to have had the opportunity to host such a diverse event!
